Question for 2013 1SS owners - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm seeing conflicting info on this (and the Chevy website appears wrong in some cases). Does the 2013 1SS have:

1) USB port?
2) universal home remote?
3) back up sensors?

There is no CD player option and I was told they are getting out of garage door openers because of the comlexity of the roaming codes on newer doors.

My wifes car has a backup camera which convinced me to not get it on the camaro.

1 - I was pretty upset initially to learn there was no CD player. Then a salesman at the dealership told me how many CDs I could rip onto a $10 memory stick so I quietly welcomed the 21st century and have loved the idea since. I do wish the USB port was in a different location though.

2 - Not a problem for me. My garage remote clips on the edge of the sunroof opening just fine.

3 - Personally, I love the backup camera on my '13 1SS. Viewing on the MyLink screen is a huge improvement over the little two inch picture in the rear view mirror that my '12 1LT had. Backing into or out of a parking space with these wide-butt cars is a big hassel otherwise.
