4 Door slow boat

Hello.. Purchased a 14 Caprice PPV with a L77. It is the stretched version of the Chevy SS. Joined the Camaro forum because the wealth of knowledge on here is awesome. And scoop up a few parts for my project. Lol Long term my plan is to swap a rear end from a manual SS, install LSA or maybe a Maggie, and appropriate trans work and converter. Probably pull motor and go through it before I go S/C. Cam, head work, DOD delete, etc. Maybe stroke it if it’s in the budget. Probably try not to bore out cylinders if I can help it for more strength. Goal is to make it my 10 second sleeper.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

A little update…. Installed 3.45 gears and Truetrac diff. Definitely needed it! Also installed 2” ARH headers and 3” exhaust. Started to get a lifter tick. Pulled the cam and found one lobe scored. Working on a heads/cam DOD delete right now. Went with BTR stage 2 LS3 N/A cam. Hoping to have it done over next several weeks.
