uni-direction tires
Does the 2014 c-7 come with uni-directional tires. My 2014 c-7 has 1,600 (16 hundred) miles on it and since day one, it has a slight drift to the right.
I took it to the dealer and they confirmed the drift and "swapped tires side to side" as stated on repair order. I questioned this and the service writer said it was ok to do so. Anybody have any info on any of this? If they are uni-directional, does this affect performance in dry or wet weather and does it increase wear? Thanks. |

You may need an alignment.
It's not unheard of for a new car coming off the assembly line with misaligned wheels. PLUS, my C7's lug nuts were only torqued to 80 ft/lbs instead of 100 ft/lbs so be sure check yours.

The tires are not directional, but they are asymmetrical. (the visible side of the tire should say "outside" on all 4 corners)

unidirection tires
Hey guys, thanks for the info. Looked at my tires and they all say "outside" on the outside. This forum is great! Lots of problems and lots of solutions. GM should be monitoring this site.
