I have a Kona N and it is so damn fun. It's even more aggressive than my 1LE. Hyundai is kicking ass with these N cars.

I'm surprised by your statement. How exactly is it more aggressive than a 1LE?

I would go GR86 / BRZ, or as others have stated, ND 2 Miata

86 is good, just the clutch feel is weird and the shifters pretty notchy. and there's alot of jerkiness w/ throttle roll-off at low speeds. fun car tho.

Just got my car & driver mag. , they did 0-150-0 with about 8 cars .The Elantra N beat the civic r by 4-5 seconds.

I was in similar boat.

I test drove Elantra N, GTI, Type R, WRX.

I didn’t drive the newest 86/BRZ but few months before prior I did BRZ.

Personally I don’t think I could live with Elantra N. It’s known to have really weak motor, material feels really cheap, metal or door weight feels horrible.
I ultimately ended up buying the GTI as my daily.

Personally I would rate GTI, WRX, Type R, BRZ/86, Elantra N

I have driven the first 86 and a Veloster N. I think my v6 Camaro drives better and the power is way better. It is my daily driver.

Talking

Based on my test drive of both type of sport cars, I would define them in few words: '22 GR86 / BRZ: Are more matured analog great handling cars (like a dependable horse). And the Elantra N is the pocket rocket, tech toy car in which you can explore its limits with multiple settings (its more like a bronco horse). Both types of cars are fun machines but on a different way.

I hope to be a drift champion some day, so I'd want the 86.

Well, the Elantra is Butt ugly, so a no go on that one, plus the potential of fires and theft ??

86 talk about a tiny interior, not my cup of tea too cramped and pretty lousy looking dashboard.

The big problem with the 86 is the Subaru engine. Needs the GR Corolla T3.

That its the way the newer '25 GR86 would come: 3 cylinders turbo + hybrid engine, the partnership of Toyota/Subaru ends.
