I did it with my Silverado Custom Trail Boss and it was fine. No issues.

Oh I know technically they work, but the way light gets thrown in those w/LED bulbs versus the projector, everyone thinks you have your high brights on.....

I know they can but that wasn't the case with the ones I had in my Silverado. The problem is that with the Silverado, everyone knew which ones to buy so there wasn't an issue with the light pattern being in the eyes of oncoming traffic. No one knows which ones work best with the Colorado yet.

I have to say the interior is far superior to WT as expected.

Not going to lie, I haven't been the biggest fan of GM truck styling in the last 5-10 years. But damn that Z71 Colorado is one good looking truck.

Got to sit in a ZR2 Desert Boss and a Trail Boss at the NY Auto Show Saturday. They feel bigger inside than the last gen, though with the drivers seat in my optimal position (I'm 6'-0"), jumping in the seat behind it my knees were touching the back of the driver's seat. Wouldn't be nearly the same inconvenience to move it forward a bit to accommodate someone in back as it does in the Camaro though.

I had to jump to get into the Desert Boss, and hop to get into the Trail Boss - looks like side steps are in my future.

The cat is upstream enough where there is no reasonable way to hack it out, which was a concern of mine.

Seeing deliveries posted in the Colorado forums, it's finally happening.

I still don't understand why, on Chevy's build page, that they offer those big rims on the Trail Boss, but not on the Z71 (and maybe the LT?) which would make more sense since they are less off-road oriented.

I still don't understand why the Z71 is NOT off-road oriented. It should have been an RST if it was going to be lower to the ground and on-road slanted. The Z71 should be the TB with a nicer interior.

There's a lot of stuff that GM does that makes zero sense. Add this to the list.

I think it's because the pricing would have put it too close to ZR2. There's only about $3k difference between the two with similar equipment so if you add the cost of the lift, wider stance and more aggressive tires, it's too close to ZR2. I agree that the Trail Boss should be the nicer of the two though. I really just wish Z71 wasn't its own model and instead, a $350 option for WT and LT like it is on Silverado.
