black smoke, 17 SS A8

Anyone else have issues with black smoke coming out the exhaust when you accelerate? I punched any my friend behind me said it was coming out like a diesel. The car was warm (was driven for 5 miles before he got behind me.) I get on it a lot, so it was not carbon build up due to babying it. 100% stock 7k miles.

Also when its a cold start up and i turn and accelerate i hear a loud humming coming from the rear end, maybe the diff?

This car has had every known issues it feels like. we already had the torque converter serviced because it was shuddering bad when accelerating. They flushed it like 4 times and it went away, but it is starting to come back aswell.

black smoke is fuel from being rich.

rear end noise on turns when cold is the limited slip...change the fluid.

converter shudder means it needs replaced. gm also needs to update the TCM calibration to rectify this issue. it does far too much goofy shit in-between and during shifts.

oh my god yes haha i have had some really jerking goofy shit happen during shifts. my wife would punch me blaming me, i kept telling her "no babe when it shifts into second sometimes at the right speed it just slams in" she think i stomp the gas to make the car jerk to piss her off.
