Finally, I got Maggi 2650 for Lt1
The 2 kits arrived yesterday.
One for Camaro SS with 2300, another one is for with Whipple. The intercooler size comparison btw 2300 and 2650. It is quite huge. Btw, have a question. The fuel line doesn't have the check valve in the line anymore while 2300 had it. Any issue with that? like cranking problems? |

You guys quit tempting me! I don't need to spend the money right now. Tell me the swap is hard as hell and you can't tell hardly any difference over the 2300! That's what I need to hear!!

Well it's not going to be anything like pulling the motor which you have already done. The 2300 has been bottom 9's, so I guess it comes down to goals. With a 85mm pulley you aren't even close to the limits of the 2300 anyway.

Ya, the 85 is not spinning the blower very hard at all. Probably only 16,000 rpm, I was spinning mine just under 20,000 with the 70mm and stock lower.
Congrats on getting that 2650 done so quickly, its a really easy swap and sounds good.

A whole new world... Just test initial run. 15* around 6000rpm. 1.25 bar , only pumped gas, no meth. I was impressed with much lower IAT tham before. Even without meth!! |

I was very impressed with the IAT's also. I've had a couple runs that they never got over 120 and one pass before the burn out it was 115 and at the end of the track 110 Iat's. My 2300 never did that, ever. Usually they started about 145-150 and ended about 130-135 and that was spraying the shit out of the Meth/water with 2 nozzles. I'm barely spraying any at all right now and just on one nozzle. Only spraying because of the fueling as I'm very close to running out of injector. I'm not changing the pump or injectors so however fast it runs on this Lt4 fueling system is it. I am going to add a Dsx low side this winter and go back to 93 octane and more meth for next year unless I can run E and I doubt that.
