for clarification, when I said a real Camaro burnout, the real was not referencing the Camaro, it was referencing the burnout.

interesting how a thread about watching a cool burnout has somehow turned political like most things these days. went from burning tires to flaming people real quick. one reason I don't post a lot.

back to the original intent of this thread...sites and sounds of Camaro based whatevers.

It's a lot easier to walk over one tiny pebble that got loose than it is to cause a landslide by trying to force it back where it came from. We'd all do better to remember the childhood rhyme of "sticks and stones".

^^^^^ so very true. Life is too short for meaningless battles. Better to be right or better to be happy? I choose the latter.

I'll make the assumption you're just ignorant and really have no business on a car forum. You should familiarize yourself with things like, "The RPM Act" that attempted to restrict enthusiasts from not only modifying their cars, but banning the purchase of high perf aftermarket parts.

And S2090 introduced in OK by Senator Markwayne Mullin to help preserve your right to purchase a car or truck with an ICE over an EV.

And the incessant onslaught of greenies wanting to restrict, if not outright ban, 4x4 trails in places like Moab, UT and CA dune locations. All of these are monitored by SEMA and opposed by people trying to protect their American way of life. You'd do well to take in a little 'Kool-Aid' lest you be relegated to posting on an electric bicycle forum.

Oh, really? Been a member and attendee of SEMA shows for longer than I can remember, and they are CONSTANTLY fighting inane politics to try and protect car, truck and off road enthusiasts rights.

This goes on year in and year out. Thankfully. Just a sample of my inbox.

There is a distinct difference between discussing policy that affects us all as car enthusiasts and what you did. Your opinion on U.S. politics don't belong here. No one agrees on politics and only generates animosity. Considering this is not a U.S. only forum, I'd guess that our Canadian brethren aren't interested, nor people from around the world.

Speaking for myself, I come here to read about the Camaro and enjoy the stories other owners share. I'm not interested in your political opinion, and since it's a ban offense, I'd guess most others don't either.

I am also old enough to "just smile and walk on past", most of the time I do and probably should have now. It's irritating that while enjoying an awesome car video, I have to engage in this pile of embers. Plenty of places to go engage in heated political debate. It's sad that a nice thread about a good video had to be ruined buy someone felt the need to interject politics for no reason at all.

Maybe I'm wrong! I just wanted to enjoy a cool video posted by SaReNi.

That was kinda fun, reminded me of the old days.
Besides, that burnout would've been more awesome with a V6 instead of a boat anchor V8.

I gave cogent examples of how politics and motor vehicle enthusiasts and their recreation are, at times, inextricably intertwined, above. To whine about bans is to deny the undeniable truth. When you are forced to lobby legislators to achieve a change of policy that concerns people not unlike on this forum, you do it through your elected representatives. And that my butthurt detractors, is where the twain meet!

You are deflecting, you have been since your first dumb ass comment that I called you on. You are calling people names, referencing their intelligence. Which btw, no one has said anything about you or called you any sort of a name. For the few that have jumped in commenting without knowing what this entire thing is about. I have every right to be here, I met all the requirements that this site asked for. At no time have I made any political statements, nor have I made any derogatory comments. Again, get a life, move out of your moms basements.

Very cool...however, that's about as much a 'real' Camaro as Joe Biden is a real POTUS!

Please come to terms with the idea that the rules should apply to all equally.

Which part? That’s not a real Camaro that we would ever have. Biden is not a real president. All the other stuff aside, he’s doing his best to rid us of the cars that we came on here in the first place for.

Save your breath dude is clearly a troll. I gave up. That garage 56 car is a work of art. I loved watching it at Lemans. Definitely Sad to see the Camaro going on a hiatus, and likely coming back in an unrecognizable and equally undesirable form… well to most of us any way.
