I also used that thread when I removed my transmission for the first time last weekend. Its not crazy informative, but you'll get an idea and figure it out along the way. Tools I found necessary were a T60 Torx bit for the driveshaft (I used a 1/2 drive) and like 3 to 4 feet of 3/8's in. drive extensions. I utilized a headlamp on my nugget and a 3/8ths in drive wobbly with a 15 mil on it to get to all the transmission bolts. I used some duct tape to keep the wobbly from going limp lol... The hardest part will be dealing with the transmission oil cooler lines. My 2011 didn't come with a remote disconnect for the upper line. I disconnected them from the radiator and unbolted the line holding block from the A/C compressor. Dropped the tranny and slid it back. I used the same transmission jack that is mentioned in that post. Bought it at harbor freight for 100, well worth it. You'll also be removing your shifter from the transmission, so read up on that. The guy in that thread used a magnet to install the very top dead center xmsn bolt.. I used duct tape on the socket/bolt lol... worked first time go. If I think of anything else, I'll add a post.
