Wheel spacers, any negative impact?

Hey, I am thinking about adding 25mm wheel spacers when I install lowering springs. Are there any negative aspects to doing this? I plan on using BMR 1.25 lowering springs and adding a stiffer rear sway bar. I want better street performance at the moment. Any info would be helpful and appreciated. This is for a 2015 2SS, no other mods at this time.

I've used Eibach spacers before. DO NOT get the cheap spacer only plate garbage in the corner parts store. You want "hub-centric" spacers. Lots of people say they are dangerous, but if you get the right quality ones, they are not. Physics alone tell you they are not... though they can (theoretically) affect stress/strain/wear on your hub or axle. For looks, they surely give a car a wider stance. I don't think I'd take a chance though, regardless, if you do any racing. For normal driving, should not be any issue.

As stated above only use Hub-centric spacers. cheap ones will introduce unbalance and shaking, ask me how I know. lol I've been using 25mm H&R "something" + without any issues for 3 years now... only on the rear.
I can get away with it with the wheels I have because the two piece rotors have a thiner wall. something to consider. also running 305s on the rear and switching to 315s in the future. fingers crossed.

I got mine from ADM. Billet aluminum. They worked great for the 18 months I used them. Changed wheels so I now have the offset to support 305 all around. Have a pair of spacers I'd be willing to part with.

Check out Motorsport Technology at www.motorsport-tech.com They'll custom machine your desired hub-centric size while providing a quality product with great customer service. I purchased a set earlier this year but haven't installed yet because I'm waiting to get calipers powder coated and new brake lines.

I would put anti-seize on the inside of H&R Spacers. I had a set that bonded themselves to my hubs.

I second the recommendation for motorsport-tech. You can get them custom and they are of great quality.
