Only reason I'd want the eddy would be for the port injection spots already being there. Thats a big help. But it would be at the sacrifice of a bit of efficiency no matter what kong tells you.

I think the new discussion needs to be Maggie 2650 vs Whipple 3.0…!

And the Eddie 2650. I just made 1031/1004 on race gas this week. No meth, no eth, no N2O.

The real truth is there terrible sales tactics. Edelbrock doesn't need to come on here and troll. I have no relations w them but I don't like mishandled information that's not proven by a third party. And I don't like Mike and his butt buddies telling me and the average guy doesn't need port when I'm doing something good. Now low and behold we have port spacers. Then I'm told well the maggi you don't have to cut the hood.. well now if you want the port spacer your cutting the hood or your can buy an 1100 buck hood. So many lies. You can look it up if it's not deleted on my threads or this one. It's all true. It boils down now to your over 11k for their blower, spacers, 112mm tb snout, and lid... that's not even counting different valve covers. I paid 4400 for mine 600 to crawford and 800 to Kong. I'll settle for a little inefficiency. Anyhow it's no biggie I keep saying the same stuff. I'm selling my car anyhow and getting a c8 z06. So you don't have to hear it any more

Your corrected 1031 is less than a 100 HP more than my 4 year old Whipple 2.9 and you’re spinning your blower way harder than I am. I’m also no meth, no N20, and no race gas (only E50 too). Kong offered me a ported Eddie 2650 for less than the 3.0 costs me but I think the 3.0 will be a good bit stronger so I’m going to give the new 3.0 a try. I guess we’ll see. 1031 is awesome and I don’t want to downplay it. You should be proud of your cars output! But we need to really think about what a max effort Maggie, Eddie, and new 3.0 will look like. I don’t think the Eddie is at the same level. Just my 2 cents which means nothing lol!

https://toohighpsi.com/products/tooh...percharger-lid “Our new billet lid allows the TVS2650 "LP" port plates to fit on your C7 Z06 or 6th gen ZL1 without any hood cutting. Get the fuel you need without modifying your hood! This billet lid is CNC machined in house from USA sourced 6061-T6 stock and features a low-profile design to clear the Z06 and ZL1 hoods when using "LP" port plates. The THP Performance lid has been carefully engineered to reduce the height of the supercharger yet provides a 7% increase in the area above the Supercharger Outlet Port and weighs nearly 3 lbs. less than factory lid. The sleek design eliminates the thick ribbing found on the stock cast Magnuson lid, allowing you to hear a significant increase in desirable supercharger whine.“ |

Oh, your asking why a custom built 427 dedicated race engine makes more than my 376 DD? 😂

He’s at 22,699 RPMs at 6800 RPM, I’m at 19,353 RPM. So he’s spinning a good bit harder.
So you’re saying 51 cubic inches explains away 300+ WHP difference?!? Besides, your blower is ported by Kong the same as his. They’re air pumps, that’s it, and airflow directly correlates with torque (which is exactly how our torque-based ECM engines are tuned by GM, as you know). If the Eddie moves similar air, it’ll make similar power. But it’s not. We’re talking a 30 lb/hr difference vs the Maggie…that’s huge.
