No experience with c8 but did shop for C6 and C7's before I got the camaro, both were a lot harder to get in and out of
It's not just the car itself is lower, it's that the seat itself sits lower in the floor pan

I am in the camp that you ahould go try it out. Personally the vette is slightly harder to get in/out imho.
Now getting in and out of a Challenger is the easiest. |

Is the sofa emoji because the Challenger seats are the size of a sofa or did you mean something else?

Really looks like the C6 Camaro is the way to go. I'll go sit in one again as soon as I can move my shoulder and neck and see how it goes |

For me they are pretty similar and the largest issue for me in the Camaro is the 6 ft long doors.

Ive had a C7 but not a C8. The Camaro is easier then any generation Vette I have ever owned.

Agreed. I have had 4 C7'S AND 2 GEN 6 Camaro's, a 1LE and ZL1. i am 6-06 200 pounds and by far the Camaro is the much smoother and easier entry and exit. Once you have dropped yourself down in the Vette, its comfortable.

When I was looking for my next carb I tried out MANY other vehicles before I went with a ZL1. I was 100% set on a c7 z06. *to be fare to myself I test drove a Stingray and SS just to see how the base models were 1st* I test drove prob 4 or 5 camaros and 3 vettes. Each time I went to gen in/out of the vette, it sucked. *6'3" 260#* the camaros were much easier compared to the vette and its why I got the zl1. I still want to try out a c8, but till this madness stops with cars, I cant even sit in one because they r all sold.

As others mentioned, C7 is harder to get in and out of. The car sits far lower.
I will put it this way: Easy Exit helps some on the Camaro, but is more or less a necessity on a C7 if you have a bar back. My back is okay and I am not overweight, and it still got tricky to get in and out of a C7. Easy Exit helped a lot. So yeah, 2LT/2LZ or up on a C7 for sure. Quote:
Actually, my Camaro is probably the easiest to get out of for a coupé due to the Easy Exit on the 2SS. When you have the seat rolled back, you can get in and out of the car without having to open the door nearly as wide.

I have had 2 C7's and 2 6th gen Camaro's and now a C8, the 6th gen camaro is much easier to get in and out of. No need to try anything, My experience is at least 500 entries and exists of the C7 and C8's and of course the 6th gen Camaro. A one shot trial and error enter and exit will tell you nothing.
