the last thing you want is a corvette owners opinion about a camaro, much less...a 5th gen

if that is the case, this witchcraft needs to stop.

"c5, C5" etc = corvette. this predates the fifth generation camaro by over 10 years. please stop confusing old people.

Everyone who’s chimed in already are 100% correct. The 6th Gen SS is far more refined and really well balanced… but…

There’s a special place in my heart for the 5th Gen ZL1, just like the Gen 3 IROC’s and the 2nd Gen RS (72 with the split bumper). To me the ZL1 is more of a long term keeper - if that’s what you’re after. This one for me is tougher than for most I guess.

I also support the Gen6 over the Gen5. However...

Given that the car is a 2016, there are definitely some things you want to ensure have been addressed like the heat soak issue with the starter and the transmission fluid change for the A8 shudder (if it's an automatic). Plenty of threads on here about various things that were worked out after the first year of the generation...

C"anything" is a Corvette. The Camaro is generally referred as Gen"x" and not C"x".
