Best place to get GMPP warranty?

Which dealer has the lowest price on the GM backed warranties? I recall with Honda/Acura there was a dealer that sold a ton of them so they could offer them the cheapest and all you have to do was call in with your VIN and payment info. Is there something similar for Chevy/GM? Does GM even have their own plans? The only thing I see is extended bumper to bumper coverage that you have to buy when the vehicle was new and it looks like it just came out in June. Also has some B/S in it where than can use aftermarket and remanufactured parts to fix your car Maybe the standard GM warranty is like that too? Are there other options available that I'm missing?

I have bought Ford and Toyota extended warranty from other state dealers that found thru online search. I think you can call your local dealers to get a quote and see who offers best price/coverage.

I'm looking into this as well. From my understanding getting the best price on a extended warranty must be done before your 3/36,000 expires. Then there seems to be confusion on what company GM is actually using for the extended warranty. I was told it's now Ally. Can anyone confirm this. These 3rd party ones that are not underwritten by GM themselves seem to be really dicey, and not sure they are even worth it regardless of price

Ally is one offered, the dealers can offer a GM Extended Protection contract, most service departments can offer that to you instead of the finance dept so you can avoid massive markups.

Todd Sutherland beat Dennis Fichtner's best price by a good margin on my 2017 Corvette Grand Sport. Him and Dennis are the "go to Chevy warranty guys" on the Corvette Forum. I was advised to wait until just before the factory 3/36 expired. They need your VIN and current mileage to give you a quote.

Sample Contract... and note the waiting period:
If Your Vehicle had no manufacturer's warranty remaining on the Contract Purchase Date, then a MANDATORY "WAITING PERIOD" will apply before
Coverage begins. The "WAITING PERIOD" is 30 days and 1,000 miles from the Contract Purchase Date. However, an additional 30 days and 1,000 miles
will be added to Your Contract's scheduled expiration.
