As of this week, GM production also remains down at Wentzville Assembly in Missouri, which is undergoing its previously scheduled changeover to new midsize truck production.

What would be the time frame for production of the new trucks, maybe December or January at the latest, since we've already starting to see production intent camouflaged prototypes testing.

I have also heard a similar claim on the Colorado Fans forum from someone who says they work at that plant.

My own guess here, but these are 2023 models. I don't see them being produced until mid to late next year, but if I'm wrong and its earlier I won't hate that one bit lol.

Honda Prologue. Built and powered by General Motors.
More idiocy. 100% electric by 2040. We building a bunch of new nuclear power plants for all this added drain on the grid? Probably not.

We are already getting commercials to not charge electric vehicles in California. The grid can’t support them with the rising temperatures.

Rivian R1T EV will offer an optional kitchen

Talk about hosting a tailgate party! For an additional $5,000-ish, you can order your Rivian R1T with a mini kitchen installed in the Equipment Tunnel.

The mini kitchen slides out from the tunnel and the legs fold out to support it. It includes a 2-burner electric (of course) stove, a collapsible sink with spray nozzle, a 4 gallon water tank, pots, plates, cups, flatware, and a coffee grinder.

Don't forget that gas generator when you're out camping in the middle of nowhere.

And that is why I need to see further enhancements to the electrical grid before the automakers go all electric. I can see the advances in the automotive side, EVs are getting better each year as far as range and performance. It's the infrastructure side I just don't see the improvements in.

Yep. I could make an EV work for me as things are right now as I barely use my POV with two state vehicles. But we need to get to the point where I can get 300-400 miles of range from a 5-10 minute charge with charge points as readily available as gas stations.

I think folks will find the majority, not all, of their driving will be covered by at-home charging. And honestly, that's a nice benefit. For most though it can't be their only vehicle to your point.
