How should I secure my Subwoofer box?

I am installing my subwoofer box in my 2018 2SS w/ Bose. Well versed with connections and how to tap into all necessary wiring. Simply looking for advice on how to secure the box with a couple goals in mind.

Goal is to have it secure AND easily taken out AND not add additional weight other than the sub and amp.

Subwoofer Box Dimensions are 26" x 13" x 12" (Toby Speakers Fort Worth, circa 1995)

I'll mount the Alpine & LOC amp within factory foam underneath.

How secure do you need it?
Buy some strips of Velcro at walmart. This is in the fabric/crafts area and they have a good assortment. Just put the hook-sided stuff on the bottom of your box. That should grab the carpet enough to prevent sliding.

Yes I have used industrial velcro to hold my custom built wood box with two 10s successfully for 5 years.

My only concern with this is the back of the factory "floor" is not reinforced with anything. It's just carpet/padding.

I'll have to test it out to see how well it stays in place.

take out the carpet, trace it to a piece of MDF and cut it. cut it in the middle to the same dimensions of the small board already attached to the carpet, and you have a new floor to mount things to. Add your own carpet or peel off the original carpet and use Super 70 to glue it to the new pieces.
