Gasoline in Catch Can?

so I decided to clear out my catch can over the weekend and notice something was a bit off.. ive changed my catch can on my 5th gen plenty of times and its always oil when I dumped it out.. this is different with my 17 1LE.. when I empty it yesterday it was like 60% clear-ish liquid.. after a good sniff.. I'm pretty sure it was gasoline.. is this normal?

The contents of what a good can will catch are as follows if analysed:

70% water and acids.
23%raw fuel (GDI engines experience many tomes the amount of raw fuel wash down past the rings that past port injection engines and this dilutes your oil reducing its ability to protect)
7% oil saturated with abrasive particulate matter.

So yes, that's normal. If you did not have the Catch Can in place, that most likely would stay in the crankcase.

Same here.
Popped it off 2 weeks ago and it was full..
..full of water that smelt like gas.

Better in there than stuck somewhere else.
Wonder why some get all the oil in there? And some don't?
