M6 3rd Gear Lock Out at WOT

im just curious on the m6. does anyone have issues where 3rd gears either locks you out or just missing 3rd a lot during WOT? I thought at first it was because im always using NFS but it seems like that's not always the case.

missing 3rd is common in almost any car with stock shifter. I know a few make springs to make that transition easier but in the moment people **** that timing up all the time.

Have you tried NLS (noliftshifting) instead? Or are you already doing that.

I haven't tracked the car yet because HP tuners hasn't figured out the torque management module that is causing our bog plus I don't have tires that can hold my power just yet until i get a pair of racestars.... But... I haven't missed 3rd since i started NLSing

really? I thought they would of figured it out by now. the bog on hard launches is crazy. I have 17 racestars but I haven't got the chance to mount them to run with it. was trying to get better times with stock tires. yeah I seem to miss 3rd all the time and it drives me crazy. never had issues missing 3rd till this car.

you got me good!

but honestly I don't have that problem.. it could be an 1LE thing too since some youtube guys were complaining about that on their 1LE. but who know.. I might just have to stop using NLF from 2-3rd

Had this problem too. Used to slightly lift when going to 3rd or I'd get locked out.

Had this issue too on my 5th gen 1LE. Found out I can avoid it by sliding and not slamming through gears.

Only rarely do I have an issue with third.....about as often as I do with second.....and it's only because my foot comes off the clutch too fast.....
