Is $2640 off of sticker a good price on a 2017 SS factory order?

The sticker for the build I want is $48,925.

The dealership is offering $1500.00 off of their invoice, which they say is $47,785.

Thus $2640 off of sticker.

This is their first offer. They've also said they will guarantee their offer for my 2012 RS Camaro while the new ride is being built.

Can I do better on the offer? Am I missing any angles?

With a similar MSRP, I'm looking at $45,1xx with military and conquest cash.

I don't consider that good at all.

Dealers toss around "invoice" numbers to the point it's comical.
