Don't forget the stares you don't see. My wife sees people, especially guys on the highway, checking out my 45th all the time.

I don't like children, but I think it's cute when they freak out about seeing my Bumblebee... as long as it's from a distance

I wouldn't be so happy if they put fingerprints anywhere on him.

The stares are long gone in my neck of the woods. 5th Gens are a dime a dozen anymore. Just did a quick loop of about 4 or 5 miles to the bank, store and back home and saw 4 other 5th Gen Camaros along the way.

If anything, I miss the stares that these cars used to elicit. Those first couple of years were really fun.

I was sitting at a red light the other day and looked up in my rear view mirroe to see this dude taking a picture of my car. He was pointing out something on the rear end to the driver but I could not tell what it was, probably the SS emblems I used to replace the bowtie.

Made me feel good then I thought this dude may be crazy and use my tag to track me down....too many X wives out there.....lol

Something tells me that the OP gets more stares than most of us in her Camaro.

I definitely prefer when someone engages me verbally about my car versus just staring at it.

My girlfriend laughs every time some kid yells 'nice car' at us as we drive by. My son drove it the other night and a kid yelled at him as he got out 'awesome car dude!' He was laughing when he came in. The other day I had some lady in a big suburban completely leaning out of her window to look my car over. It catches me off guard every time.

Haha, yeah. I had a nice conversation with a guy in traffic yesterday. Pulled up beside me and asked what I had under the hood, then we talked for a minute before traffic started moving. This is the first time someone has done that and I drive with my windows down all the time. Really brightened my day.
