Heritage Grille Bowtie Replacement Question
I found this video but this is obviously on a stock grille. Is it any different for the Heritage Grille or is the process the same? Thanks for the help, sorry for being a bit clueless |

I did the Heritage grill swap on my '10 and left the bowtie off. The Heritage grill doesn't have the slots for the bowtie like the factory grill. Instead it should come with a plastic adapter to clip your stock bowtie to. The adapter can then be bolted to the Heritage grill. Hope that helps.

Anyone? Do we just pry it out of the adapater or do we have to get into the back of the grille?
The Help is appreciated! |

If you're talking about putting the bowtie on the heritage grille you will need to get behind the grille to install it. The mounting pad + bowtie sit outside the grille. Then there is a separate bracket that goes behind the grille to secure it on. Hopefully that helps you out.

Kind of. Sorry for not being clear but I have a bowtie on already. I want to order and install a new one which would require me take the old one out.
If that's what I have to do still than thank you! |

When I ordered my grill from Maureen at Rogers Chevrolet it came with a new bowtie and the mounting bracket for the heritage grill. It was all a package deal. So now I have two front bowties I'm not using.
