Arrow Dodge Dart compact priced at just $15,995. First real life photos from Detroit show

Wow at that price. The 184hp model should be plenty peppy.

Not a Dodge fan but this car has me impressed.

I hate the fact that they used the Charger tail lamps on the Dart. Come on...where is the originality?

holy crap they will offer it in 12 exterior colors??? and they can't even offer a good or any blue for the Camaro...

I'm still afraid to buy a Fiat. I'll wait a few years for reliability trends to start showing up before buying anything from the "new" Chrysler...

The car looks nice though. I'd probably want it if I were a girl. It's very cheap and looks fast.

Not to mention 14 different color and trim combos.

Wow that price is amazing! I expected low 20,000 range not this. But I have to say I dont care much for the design of this car at all. I dont like how they just copied the back end of the Charger & Challenger it just screams like they ran out of ideas. Why not give it the proper tail lights like any other car in this segment? I will say this right now though- CHEVROLET STEP UP TO THE PLATE WHEN IT COMES TO EXTERIOR COLORS ON YOUR VEHICLES! IT IS PATHETIC THAT THE CAMARO STILL DOESNT HAVE A PROPER BLUE COLOR OR OTHER CHEVROLET VEHICLES FOR THAT MATTER- AND THE EXCUSES ARE GETTING OLD ESPECIALLY WHEN FORD JUST DEBUTED THE NEW FORD FUSION IN A BLUE HUE ALONG WITH ALL THEIR CARS.

You can definitely see the Fiat influence in the design....I like it. As far as Fiat reliability, I lived in Italy for nearly 6 years and trust me, Fiat had a great reputation....they weren't and aren't the most beautiful in the world, but reliable they are. I hope Dodge puts their SRT turbo 4 in this car and you will see folks flock to the new Dart...way to go Dodge!

What constitues a "proper" taillight? Does it not have brake, signal, and backup lamps? Oh it does. Dodge used full length taillights long before the Challenger and Charger. it is a good design them, as much as Chevy sticking Corvette-like quad lights on EVERYTHING.

Not sure why people were expecting it to start in the low 20s. It's a compact. The rest of the segment starts in the teens.

I liked when they decided to make the Chargers tail lights like that but doing to the new compact Dart is going a little too overboard with it. They risk people getting tired of this design on all the cars. We will see how well this car translates into sales for Dodge I guess.

I think, like GMs 4 pot tails, it is just a theme which I think looks fantastic, actually maybe a little better on the little dart. I just don't see plain old singular boring taillights looking better. Really it makes me think more 1st and second gen Eclipse than anything else on the dart.

Loving the interior. Very modern and functional. The front seat storage is awesome. But the exterior is kind of just meh... The tail lights look alright, I like them since I'm a fan of the Charger's tail lights. But the front reminds me of a Hyundai, with the exception of the grill. The headlights just come too far back on the sides.
