Hmm, good to know for future reference. So far, mine has been 100% perfect at 1300 miles.

Great info on this...

It isn't bad & you do sorta learn throttle control to minimize...seems to act a little different in the varying driving modes.
Good to know, though I haven't noticed it until now. I'm at about 1200 miles.

It doesn't really bother me, it's just something that caught my attention -- if it doesn't get worse I'll be happy.

I tested it today and when I'm in GO-MODE it still shifts as fast as any other gear. It's just a bit more sluggish than the others when the car is lazy.

It's when you set your purse down and give it the sauce.

**Update**

I'm at 1700 miles. Spirited acceleration, nothing crazy... The car did not want to shift into 4th gear.

During a steady acceleration (not WOT) from a stop, the car shifted 1-2-3 with regular cadence, then the 3-4 shift took loooong and it started to whine and then a very loud thunk and the car jerked and then it landed 4th.

The car was fully warmed up (20 minutes of prior driving).
Full auto mode
Sport Mode (Not-PTM)

I tried driving around normally after, shifting in and out of 4th manually and automatically. It seemed fine, though 3 to 4 shift is generally clunkier, but no real problems.

I haven't tried to repeat it. I have an appointment for my 1500 mile oil change -- I'll bring it up then.

Let us know what they say as there HAS to be complaints about this with GM...mine has never missed a beat / delayed a shift, just rough & not like the others. I use the paddles on spirited driving but not had her hardest. If I want to go full out I always have her in auto.

I'll give the manual ago next time I get an opportunity.

27000 miles 2017 and i have been noticing aftre I make a turn from a slow roll the trans will shift 3-4 and about 2 seconds later the rpm drops. Instead of at the same time. In a straight line it's fine. I had my dealership change the fluid before CFest and of course the tech could not duplicate the issue at the time. So I was going to wait till after the strike was over to bring it back in. Maybe just needs a reflash. It's almost like a pause. You feel the tranny shift and then 2 seconds the rpm drops and then goes to 5th like nothing happened. All of this is in atomatic too.

Sounds different than my issue. Yours sounds like the issue takes place after the shift. Mine seems to be delaying before the shift. I think yours could be software, I think mine may be mechanical.

I hope a reflash helps, good luck!
