May be an excuse for me to get a new exhaust.

Using a light touch with a non-marring wash implement with ample suds moving in one direction with each stroke, using a rinse bucket, and blow drying the car (no touch for drying) seems to be working very well for me.

I just read in my Car and Driver mag that the new Ford Exploder ST has a hole in the bottom of the tailpipe just before the tip to help with some of the soot from DI.

I had it ceramic coated and apply spray-on ceramic approximately every 90 days. Also, I take the two bucket approach a level up and use multiple rags to minimize the chances of swirls, etc.

My car is yellow, and I have the dots also. Tips exhaust tips are always black.

My diesel trucks exhaust is sparkling clean.
