Fastest ZL1 Around CotA

Last day of the Super Lap Battle. Had a ton of fun, met a lot of new people, and learned the value of friendship.

If you like what you see, please consider supporting the team by subscribing! We'll be heading out out to Global Time Attack at Road Atlanta next in May, and will have plenty of content for that.

I also post a bunch of pics on my Instagram if you're in to that sorta thing: https://www.instagram.com/r_stands_for_race

Well that was definitely a GREAT video. Can't wait to run COTA in the future.

What blower and engine mods are on that car?

Bring this bad boy up to NCM at Camaro Fest this year.

Thanks! CotA is definitely a blast.

Mods are pretty light. We have a Callaway 2.3 blower, headers back exhaust, fuel pump, Flex Fuel running E50, tuned by Dedicated Motorsports in Dallas.

Would love to do all the events, but we gotta work regular jobs and stuff, lol. Maybe if the channel got big enough, we could just drive around the country doing track days.

Definitely light but just the right touches. I hear ya on the regular job. It's a one day drive for us in Houston but two days at NCM and two days at Beech Bend ends up being a week. Would love to highlight this car at the event and help get that subscriber list up.

How fast did the car go with the actual owner driving vs the Trans Am pro driver?

Also, when were light mods fully adjustable APR aero and an aftermarket supercharger...

Jason managed a 2:30 his very first time out at CotA, very respectable, but lot's of room for improvement.

All those mods are literally bolt-ons. No custom fab work, no engine disassembly, no one off parts, seems pretty light to me, especially considering the other cars we were running with.

Great video. I just wish GM would fix the distortion on the sound on the PDR. Seems like they all do it after about 80 mph.

We'll have to disagree on the light mod's claim, even though the parts were sourced used (smart) the investment and power output can't be considered "light" by me personally.

I'm glad Jason drove the car on COTA, the car is an absolute beast for sure.

None of the sound was from the PDR. It was all using a Rode mic with a dead cat. The PDR audio is total garbage, can't hear anything but distorted wind noise.

There's only so much you can do, though, bombing down a track at 150+ mph with the windows down.
