Car shakes/moves when startup

Having this thing happening recently, when hitting the start button, I feel the car moves/shakes slightly with some locking-in sound. Anyone experiencing same thing?

same here...car moves a bit. It also moves back & forth in neutral if you rev the engine. Weird but somehow "normal" for the ZL1 A10.

A couple questions for you... Are you a manual or A10 Automatic? Also, if you're an Automatic, do you use your parking brake?

I have noticed that at work if I back into my parking spot and when I leave to go home that the parking brake is set briefly and releases. I never set it and it only does it when I park backwards at work. It does do a jerky motion though. A10 here.

I am getting the same here.. when parking backwards!

A10, I stopped using the parking brake cause when used the car wont move after I release it! The brake pads seems to be sticking to the drums and I have to press the gas to make the car move and when it does I can hear a very loud noise. I don't daily use the car, so when left for 3-4 days this happens.

My V6 A8 does the same thing. I also quit using the parking brake.
