GThaus mid resonator delete pipe

Given secondary cat delete systems are not available anymore, what are the options beside having something custom made from an exhaust shop?

Has anyone attempted to install the GThaus LSR Mid Resonator Delete Pipes on a OEM suitcase system?

I was wondering, kind of looks like a secondary cat delete, been looking at this one borla 60607. The ends near front of the car look like my old borla 2nd cat delete setup,, but not 100%

For a secondary cat delete, one side must have a flange and the other side must be swagged just like on this picture.

I ordered this in April and after an exercise in patience it finally came in and I got it installed last week.

I gotta say it's louder than I expected. YouTube sound clips don't do it justice.

I am actually surprised. I was under the impression they weren't allowed to produce secondary cat delete system anymore, P/N 14770blk is not even listed on on Corsa website and I know it used to.
Meanwhile they are claiming one in stock

Also, is it overly loud? any drone?

No drone, but it is pretty loud when giving enough throttle to pass someone. I've been more conscientious about how I pass people if they have their windows down unless they are annoying me then they get it in all its glory. If you were looking for a more aggressive sound in the lower rpm range then this is it.

Is it a plug n play, or Does it need a welder?

It's a bolt on, no welding required although you might have to make some cuts if you want to keep the OEM suitcase type muffler.

I had a muffler shop cut secondary's and weld in pipes in its place for $150. I then took them to the scrap yard and got $300 for the pair so I was up $150
