Do dealers do modifications at the time you buy the car? Is this something they do or don't do? Does GM warranty such mods?

I know dealers will install GMPP parts.

my dealer had a few modded camaros in his showroom... one Black SS with headers and aftermarket exhaust, and one IOM SS with a SC, and with changes to make it look like a pace car....they would sell you either car, or they find people that liked the mods and bring their cars in for the dealership to perform the work...

I've seen several (Nissan) dealers add aftermarket parts and then try to jack up the price. However, a friend of mine bought a Frontier with a dealer added exhaust. When they told him that it was extra, he told them take it off. They threw it in to the deal.
