Just tossing this out since I think people would like to know who's selling at MSRP and who is not, James Martin is not selling at MSRP and has some markup in their prices and it's not just a few dollars. I wished that I had gotten an agreement in principle with Joe because I got caught unaware by this. I was able to haggle it down to something that I could live with but if they had held to the dollar figure they threw out I quite possibly would have told them to keep their car.

My advice (a bit late) is always get a sales quote before you put down a deposit.

I didn't hand my card over for a deposit on my order until I had a contact in hand with the walk-out price of my car. No games 3 months later. Just a happy customer.

well to add insult to injury, 2023 production was supposed to start today (Monday, 6/6/22), but now GM says production won't start until 6/17/22, (a Friday) what is the reason why for the push back

That’s not unusual. Probably have some 22’s that were scheduled and got pushed back.

Probably because they haven't finished building the 2022 orders yet. My TPW was supposed to be 5/23, but as of earlier today at least, it still hasn't been built.

So according to the GM Authority link above, the 2023 ZL1 1LE’s will not have the carbon fiber rear spoiler! Wow! And for that we have to pay an extra $3700 for the 2023. Hmmm. Not liking this at all!!!

No, no,no! The regular ZL1 no longer has the available option for the 1LE carbon wing.

How often does GM give the dealer an allocation? is it weekly / every other week/ monthly? i see some people with 23 orders are moving along just fine. my dealer is a pretty well known dealer and sells quite a bit but im still at 1100 status on my 1LT RS 3.6.

Weekly, but that doesn’t mean your dealer will get a Camaro allocation every week.

Hi. Finally found an allocation for a 2023 vert. Been trying for 4 model years.

Questions (going to the dealership in 4 hours):

1. How do I know they really have an allocation?

2. How long does it typically take to get to 2000 so I can pull the plug if it takes too long and try another dealer?

3. I can assume these days it could take 60-90 days to get to 2500?

I am assuming any dealer can get to 1100/1101 status,

but it doesn't mean they have an allocation.

Ya I still havent gone to TPW on my order. I thought when it was accepted it would move along.
