Leave the headrests in, plus, wear elbow pads, knee pads and a helmet, when driving anywhere.

You’ve apparently never been rear ended. I was in a Gen4. Not good. Statistics may be on your side but you’ve made a grave error in judgment. Hoping you never have to realize how big it was.

My 69' RoadRunner had a head rest, seatbelts in front and ceiling mounted body restraint. Seatbelts never used and body restraint belt never removed from folding mounted position in ceiling. Somehow I survived.

Is this seriously how you think?? Please stay tf away from everyone!

This comment is dumber than the op At least he's only harming himself, and maybe a passenger. But hopefully they'd be smarter to request it put on.

For the love of all cars, and human life, LOOK before you move regardless of sensors.

Or, you could like just set your mirrors to the ACTUAL blind spot, which means you don't see the side of your car, which is redundant with the REAR VIEW mirror, but who has time for that!?

I like the added safety of the 2SS, but I got along with a 2010 2SS just fine too and primary was setting the mirrors correctly, but people are idiots and they love snapping their neck left and right "over their shoulder" trying to look in the tiny rear side window. I see this all the time when someone is merging, they are frantically snapping their head into the traffic direction because they idiotically don't have their mirrors actually set to see what mirrors are supposed to see...
