That’s an easy answer. They are perfectly and timelessly styled, from a 2010 base model V6, to a 2015 Z28, everything in between styling wise is perfection. Its relatively easy to make the V8 cars much faster, and you can make all of them handle very will too. Perfect looks+easy to go fast+easy to drag or corner=perfection. Don’t forget how excellently well built they are. This along with the C7 are likely in my opinion to be GM’s last works of true art. I plan to have at least my 5th gen ABM SS till the day I die. It still gets lots of compliments even though it’s almost 15 years old.

Like ariZona28 it was my first new car and I've ALWAYS drove old stuff with my current daily an '85 project. I wanted something modern and cool for weekends, not another knuckle buster - turn the key and go with bonus points for red. Plus i darn near died the year before I bought it so the urge to live it up some was a factor.

After working on something modern it finally dawned on me what all the lost 10mm socket jokes were about.

LOL! I still don't get it. I don't discriminate. I manage to lose ALL off my sockets equally. I also set stuff down and wander about quickly forgetting where I placed said item. I usually start singing the old song "The Wanderer" to alleviate my frustration.

I was looking for a Gen1 with a SBC when I saw an article saying GM was considering building the concept car. I actually sent GM a message, which I never do for any company, saying that if they built that car I would buy it. Picked mine up in December of 2009. Doubled down when I bought my daughter an SS vert for high school and bought it back when she had to have an F150 Platinum. Now, she wishes she had kept the vert.

I like the Gen6 and I would like a CTSV, but I know these cars pretty well and the LT platform is more difficult to mod. Plus, why start over. Both cars are plenty fast and have that 60s muscle look I wanted.

Totally concur with this! Back when they first came out I had a 2004 Mustang. While I was looking at all the "new" muscle coming out my eyes kept looking at the Camaro. The mustangs just still looked the same from 2005 to 2010, nothing grabbed my eye, the challenger looked too big and bulky, not even close to the 1972 challenger I had back in the day that was sleeker, the charger was just ugly, and too big, but the camaro had the style and lines of the 1969 camaro I had back in the day. When I got in it the interior was nice and roomy, comfortable, I'm 6ft 2, and the dash and gauges were similar to my 69, then when I took her for a test drive I fell in love with her!! Bought her the very same day!! The rest is history..

when it first came out, loved it. still my favorite of the new generations of Camaro. looks the meanest of all of them. love the front of the car, especially the stock grille.

I own one because there’s no better car unless I opted to buy the $100k 1967 RS/SS L78 or the 2014 Z/28
