A Sad Goodbye 2014 Red #89

It's with great sadness to report I've sold my 2014 Red Z bought new in 2014, now has 614 miles.
I have traded it in to Vanguard Motor Sales in Plymouth Mi.
I've decided to go in another direction and purchase a "Factory Five" Hot Rod.
I've owned several 5th Gen Camaros, The Z by far is the best one ever.
Thank you for all the years of sharing this great vehicle with so many people around the world.

Duane, sorry you had to part with it. Good luck with the new direction and some lucky person is gonna get one heck of a sweet ride with only 614 miles on the clock.

I suspect when they list it, it'll be some crazy number like everything else they list for sale

Good luck with your new toy. Sorry to see the Z go, but I'm sure someone will take care of her. That's also my plan when I retire. Build a Factory Five Daytona, blue with white race stripes. Good luck to you and post once in a while with your new project.

Ouch I think you will be kicking yourself for this move. Sounds like you had a stunning example of a Z/28 that would be very difficult to replace. My plan is to keep my Z/28 and add a Superformance when I retire.

To quote the band the Talking Heads from the appropriately named song Once in a Lifetime: You may ask yourself " My God what have I done?"

I sincerely hope you drive the Factory 5 car more. 614 miles? What were you saving it for? LOL!

If I were to buy another track designated V8, it would be a Factory Five Type65 Coupe.

Inquired about this car. no price yet but it was driven by whoever took it in. It supposedly now has 670 miles on it.

Wouldn't you?

Not like another 56 miles is going to wreck its value (although that IS almost another 10%).

Yea, they brought a flat bed tow truck when I told them a low ramp car trailer was required, so they had to drive it. probably another 50 miles.
