i didn't like how that line just sat on the top like that. Feel more comfortable with everything secure, like factory. So i flipped mine around.

no doubt your way is cleaner looking. No access to the schrader valve port now but really not a big issue. My way is plenty secure, and it doesn't see the car show circuit.

Found my problem. If anything, the guys that haven't installed theirs yet now know to look at the water pump clearance. Mine is cracked where it rested on the pump AND the throttle body doesn't line up.
Pictures are taken with the intake manifold upside down, so what you are seeing is the base of the intake. I reinstalled the throttle body on the work bench after i saw the 2 black marks on the throttle body. So, i was chasing bolt torque when the problem was below the throttle body. I'm back to stock now and i will play the phone tag game with MSD until i have a $950 paper weight. I believe i have a blem unit but so far MSD has been far from helpful.

I have been weighing up whether to go with the MSD Atomic or the FAST intake manifold to finish off my build but given that MSD's aftercare doesn't appear too great, I am swaying toward the tried and tested FASTintake.

spoke with MSD yet again today. Supposed to have gotten an adapter plate with the intake in order to use the stock throttle body....

Stay away from the MSD manifold. They are total garbage. Seals don't line up, thread inserts spin, case halves have excess casting lines, minimal power gains, fuel rail issues, water pump and throttle body fitment issues.
