yeah pandora comes up on your data plan. but it's music, not data heavy..


I listen to pandora at work all day, my office is right outside our warranty call center and I hate listening to the operators.

I stream from my phone about 14 hours a day between work and the car and my data usage has never exceeded 2gb in a month..

Dont mess with XM, terrible customer service and they will keep charging you after you cancel.

XM says mine dies in Sept . . . I need to look at my window sticker . . cause I recall reading that they came with one year . .

They tried charging me for 3 months. After I had canceled it!! And they were sending bills to an address I haven't lived at for over 2 years!! This was in June or July this happened!! And AGAIN I told them to switch the address!! Do you think they did??? Nope!!! Still send stuff to my old address!!

I have a 2SS and it's supposed to be 12 months.

Mine was shut off after 3 months so I call my dealer. They called XM and got it turned back on. 3 months later, it went off again.
I called my dealer and they called XM again. This time, they turned it back on and assured me it won't happen again. They also gave me 12 more months of service.

I'll let you know what happens in 3 months.

Well this all really sucks! I am glad to know that I am not the only one that is having this issue! I am not a huge fan of XM but if it is due to you, You should get it!!! There is nothing that says subject to change on my window sticker!!! I want the 12 months that I am owed..

im running into the same issue i called the dealer and they said they took care of it, i shall see shortly. if not pandora may be the next option.

Partial success with xm tonight.

Account was credited with another 3 month trial with the promise that the rest of the time will be added before that runs out.

We'll see in 3 months and 19 days.

I received my 2012 2SS in October of 2011. I confirmed with XM that I have one year and then I will pay with a check for one year, no credit card. Now my On-Star stopped after three months and I have never heard from them and I will not renew..

I feel your pain. I have been arguing with my delivering dealer. They are close to an hour away from me. They want me to drive back up there to show them the window sticker. They agreed I could just take a pic to prove it. I did and now the rep still want to see the sticker.

This problem just helps compound even more problems I have had with this idiot dealer.

I am not going to drive up there to "show" them the window sticker that they received the car with and it was explicitly stated on GM's web page that I forwarded them. That still isn't good enough.

If you are in the PA area, "DO NOT DEAL WITH JOHN SAUDER CHEVROLET OF NEW HOLLAND OR THEIR EPHRATA location"

As long as the dealer has your VIN, they should be able to look up the original window sticker themselves.

Mine went off two weeks ago. Called the dealer and spoke with the sales manager, it was turned back on while I sat in the car with him on the phone with XM and me. Supposed to good for 1 year.
