As the value of the cars goes up, so does the salvage amount it's worth. Also, take into consideration GM is no longer producing the LS7, so someone with cash may be stashing this one for use at a later date...

2015 on BaT with $5k and a ‘minor’ CarFax issue only bid to $46k today. Not sure what held it back, it had engine mods but nothing crazy, other ones modified went for normal money. Point is, if the CarFax held it back then then $38k was a gift for this one.

It simply isn't worth that much. Parts or repaired with a salvage title it can't make money but some people do youtube videos and make money that way,repairing a car. Or get too excited to try to do the same thing they saw on youtube and overbid.
Can't see how bad the body is bent or rear cradle damage but looks like a good track car.
