Crankshaft 2011 Camaro SS aka Big Bertha
Hello there guys/gals, i just recently(Marchl13) bought a 2011 Camaro SS, while i was looking at Coyote Stangs and Challengers the one thing that sold me on this vehicle was the fact that i did not looked right getting out of either one when i imagined myself doing so. Car was 1 owner vehicle and while mileage is a tad higher than i would of liked(130k) i believe it was worth the $10,995 that they were asking specially since i did not plan to keep any kind of warranty left or offered from factory. I owned a 91 Z28 in the past that i bought as scrap and completely rebuilt the car before losing interest on the car and selling it to my dad; the funny part is that i always wanted a Mustang and tried since age 17 to get a Coronet or Satellite yet the one car i never looked for is the one i have bought both times. Anyway i took the car home and the first two weeks all i did was wrench on it although i supposedly bought a newer car so i would have to do so, so far i have installed;
Cold air intake 1 7/8 Long tube headers with cat deletes 3 inch true dual X pipe exhaust Frost tune I was lucky the car already has Brembo brakes so that i will be leaving alone, i did just buy a rear sway bar from a guy here and plan on getting a tunnel, strut and front end brace soon so i can maybe start planning a TSP level 1.2 cam on this girl. CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Thanks
Thanks guys, yeah I've been member at different forums since early 2000s so I know how it get sometimes; I was raised during the time when honor was thought and courtesy was a common practice.
So I took my two brothers on a ride (at the same time) and my brother compared my car with his friend's 14 Vette with similar mods stating that the Vette is "slightly faster" which all things considered makes me happy as I know those LT motors are nasty and C7 are close to 1k pounds lighter than we were. I am now debating whether I should do a Cam or simply a sneaky Pete system. |
