"early" is a relative term. You have to remember that this car was in development and pre-production from at least 2006 where they made the Transformers debut of the conceptual design.
One reason the Camaro is so good, they worked on it for (relatively speaking) a very long time.

Start of production was March 16th 2009 , i would have personally worked on this 5thgen as it was indeed an early build.

If you open the hood and look down to your left between the rad cover and engine you'll see a white sticker , it will tell you the exact time and date the front suspension was shipped over to the main assembly plant . The time stamp is within a few hours of your car coming off the line , with a few exceptions like time of day , what day , also the fact we were only on one shift back then , so if it was towards the end of the day the time has to be adjusted for the start of next day production.
