My new 15 Z-28
  Hi All!!! Wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm JJ, with a new 2015 Z-28. Wanted one since they first came out...finally got it together to get this one. What a fantastic ride. Looking forward to getting a ton of info here. If this is in a wrong section, please move as needed. I'm not sure what the number of the vehicle is...where will I find that data...off the VIN? Z28 HLR,
Thanks very much for the welcome. I am very excited. I wanted a '14, but it was not in the cards then. The local dealers said they weren't sure when or if they would get one, and said they were going to mark them up $20k. Way too much in my mind. So I bought a '13 Boss 302, which was a great car. But this Z bug never left me. What an awesome car. It is everything I wanted in the Boss but did not have. I am thrilled to have it. The stripe is a dealer applied high quality decal, a 3M type, that does give it some nice offset. The only thing I'm having some issues with is getting the Bluetooth to access the contact list on my Galaxy S5 by voice command. Otherwise, everything is perfect so far. I love the power, gear ratios (both rear end and tranny) and handling. A fabulous vehicle. The last four on my VIN are: 0390 JJ Last edited by jjgi5150; 09-22-2015 at 10:18 PM. I'm located in the lower desert near Palm Springs. I work late nights on Saturday into Sunday morning, so I probably won't be able to make that one...but I will work toward a future one with some more advance notice.
