Roll racing?

Has anyone done any "Roll racing" in their Z28? How did you fair?

Only race I've EVER participated in on a public road was against my son's V-Rod . It was from a dead stop and i was pulling on him till i hit 3rd and he pulled on me then i shut it down . Now he's cammed and a few other goodies and keeps jabbing at me to go again . I love my son too much to watch something bad happen just because of pride. Lol. I know that doesn't answer your actual question but thought it might give you an idea about the gearing ratio from a dead against a Harley Crotch Rocket. Race against yourself , it's a WHOLE lot more rewarding . Be safe man .

These cars are more track focused than roll focused. I think a 6g manual will take the w from a 40+ roll

Always well. Use the Torque that comes in at 4K rpm.

Even when playing with fast auto sports cars, if you can get the Z/28 in 2nd or 3rd gear at 4K rpm before you hit it, you can go a long ways before shifting and giving up any ground. The instant torque of the Z/28 at that RPM will always give you a little leap forward that can carry you through the little open space you have available to play around with other sports cars.
