I'm curious what phone mount are you using in your Z/28?

I was intending on getting a new pro clips mounts to go with my other holders, but it looks like they may not sell any that work with the Z/28 (I have an email out to them to check)….the console holder looks close, but their site says it only works with the console in the image, which is an auto with 4 gauge cluster...

Side note: Escort 360 radar is on Amazon @ $450 right now

Thanks !! , I just ordered the one for the 2015 Camaro that hooks up to the passenger side of the center console (console mount). That should work for me, since my hand is always on the stick.

I had emailed customer service over there to ask, and they requested a picture and everything, then a mgr verified fitment. They probably should lay off the "if your console/dash doesn't look exactly like this picture then it wont work" jazz...

Thanks Barefoot Dave, I just received the console mount and the Iphone XR holder. I works great. I really love it. Parts are all made in Sweden and high quality. It is a super easy install and very sturdy. Here are some pics:

How did you get this to fit? I had to trim a lot off the back. This was clearly made for the pre 14? I'm not sure if the 14 and 15 vents are the same.

Both of my cars are over in the garage-I will take a picture of both of them later this week. I have the one we are talking about in my 14 Z/28 and I have the higher mounted one in my 15 ZL1. Both of them went in easily and work perfectly.

I ended up getting both the console mount and the dash mount. I couldn't get the dash mount to work as it should without it severely pulling trim up (and looking like shit), but I could get it into the vent; I'm sure if I had been willing to put the 3m tape inside of the vent, it probably would've held, but I wasn't.

So, I used the console mount, only to find the 3M tape wasn't thick enough, so it didn't stick right (it still worked, but I could slide it around fairly easily), and it had to be too far towards the stick in order to work with my phone (a samsung S9, not even a plus), and that made it where I couldn't have the seat all the way forward (it kept pulling wires, even after managing the shit out of them), and it prevented me from using the power adapter extension (2 adapters + 2 USB) I normally use; the one I had to use wouldn't fast charge my phone, and was bulky as hell by comparison.

So, I ended up at Walmart, went down the car aisles, found a freakin $8 vent clip mount, and that fkn thing works GREAT lol. Wasted a bunch of money on proclips only to get a cheapy that works much better, go figure. The proclips worked so well with my 6th gen, I was surprised at the problems I had with it for the Z.
