Why the wife won't drive my Camaro! ***UPDATED***
I bought my Camaro back in 2010. I got the L99, but wanted the LS3. Thinking my wife might some day have to drive it, I was considerate and practical. Being active duty military, I travel a lot, and would hate for her to need a way around, but can't drive a stick. We got her a 2011 BMW 740Li. I call it Kymm'z Kokaine. It's all luxury. Harman Kardon 9 speaker system, kicks the crap outta my BA system. iDrive navigation kills my Camaro DIC. More room, but I'm fine with that...no kids, so I only need a driver's seat. AC cooled seats, which are nice on Cali summer days. Pretty stout, but lacks the aggression of my Camaro. This morning I go fill her up. I'm out and back, and she claims she never heard me pull into the garage. Mind you, I've got MagnaFlows w/muffler delete. The thing rattles the whole house when I fire it up. Especially in the mornings at 5:30 AM. She's driven it twice in two years. Claims it gives her a headache! I love it!!!
So, after a year, my wife still won't drive my Camaro...but we got her a brand new Porsche Panamera. I call it So Sophisticated!

Thanks motorhead. The service does't pay very well, compared to the private sector. But it is pretty stable. I've been in 21 years, so I do ok. My wife owns a business. That's where the real funds come from. Plus, we don't have any kids. She claims she's raising me. LoL

Nice ride Gunny! Love the 7 Series! My wife needs a new ride this year, and has her eyes on an Escalade. Seems like both our wives love to ride in style!

Thanks Deke. I'd wait on an Escalade. They're changing the body in 2013. Gotta keep the wife rollin' nice!
