Let me guess - they've reduced the excess, upped the mileage limit and offered you a free holiday to Mauritius including Business Class flights. If only Carlsberg did Camaro insurance.

I know mine is v6 but that seems a lot to pay mine is with classicline 4000 mile £250 excess kept in garage and had a claim 2 years ago totalled I'm 46, £369

That's an old post Symone; I went with Admiral back in September for the current insurance - paying a lick over £400 for the full fat cover with a lot of bolt-on bitz (euro-recovery, £125 screen excess - I thought that was good value as apparently a repl HUD-compatible screen is circa £1400...)
Cheers, Ed

Admiral ran away from me ...
Said they honestly could not cover the MODs.
Apart from my Lambo Doors, mine is like the rest of yours ... #confused

I just don't get insurance companies - robbers the lot of them. I've been with Admiral since I bought my V8 and this year paid £249 FC on a multi policy. Clean licence and knocking on a bit !

I tried quite a few of the specialist insurers I was recommended, some wouldn't even run the car through the system when I mentioned I was 28 and daily driving it, or 'I think that will be around 2K, I'd try somewhere else'.

This did put the fear in my while I was importing the car, that I wasn't going to get it insured or anything reasonable. Admiral does seem to be the way to go, mines £500 on a multicar.

Though some of insurers trying pronounce 'Chevrolet Camaro' is quite entertaining - 'Chev-row-lot Cam-a-roo' being my favorite

Did you guys find the premiums fluctuated much when declaring mods?

MODs added about £100 to £250
They all seem so clueless; "I need to talk to the Underwriter" #bollocks
They give me no confidence.
