Well crap. I was told that if the stripes were glossy it was ok to wax/polish. If they were the flat or matt finish to NOT wax/polish.
Mine are the gloss , so I have waxed and used regular and graphine detail sparay on them . Could I be damaging them ? I have notied a lil fade starting , but thought it was from the heat and UV.

unfortunately, the compounds in the wax/polish break down the vinyl. Not the end of the world, but they will prematurely start to peel, fade and breakdown.
