I have to agree. $55k on a $60k car that can be done for $25k.

$55k on a Z should net you 1500hp and a 1.2 skidpad.

Let it go. This was well over a decade ago. That argument is old now. I'm sure they've moved on as well.

Would I take my car to John? Nope. Never. It's business. He fkd up, he learned from it, and built a company way more powerful than ever b4. And to say he did it off the backs of a few customers is just fkn stupid. He builds reliable high HP cars. His shop is always full. He's doing something right.

Give him his props and just move on. On the business side. To me, the guy is a douche, but I won't deny his skill set on building a company and becoming a millionaire. Not to mention everyone he employs. They all get pay checks.

125k for an exorcist pkg on a standard zl1 that you can get for 60k is ridiculous. even 100k would be high but a little more reasonable

In reality, the man builds high quality vehicles. I’m a DIY hands on guy so would I go to him? No. But to warrant 1000+ horsepower vehicles for the kind of abuse they’ll get from customers, for those who can afford it, its a great deal for the price.

That was a neat time lapse. I always wonder when I see one of these, at what point does it become more efficient to do the motor work outside the chassis?

I can build one for 75k (me doing the work) and for the 50k I saved i can almost buy a new car (std zl1) not sure the warranty is worth 50k

Then I suggest you open up a shop and make a killing. You should be able to put everyone out of business at those price points.

I to thought that most of this was from many years ago. But there are still quite a few people over the past few years claiming issues. Jalopnik just recently did a story with recent burned customers and ex employees verifying. Still smells funny.

I see his A10 upgrade option is an additional $10k on top of the Exorcist package. Wonder what it includes besides tuning?
