Borla Carbon Fiber Tips
I have tried this thread on the ZL1 forum and I wanted to run it through here. What is everyone's thoughts on the Borla exhaust carbon fiber tips. I am on the fence and wondering if they are worth the extra $500. The stainless tips don't blow my skirt up and every exhaust has stainless tips just about.
I am about to pull the trigger on a Borla Stype catback just stuck on the tip. Post if you all like or hate and pics are obviously always good also. |

I’m strongly considering th e Borla ATAK with the CF tips.
The thing that bugs me is the Borla red and white emblem and I must admit I do wonder if they can handle the heat.?.?.? |

I have the CF tips on my 17 1LE and have not had an issues with the Borla emblem on the tips. It looks like the tips are designed for cooling I would show a pic, but she is taking a nap for the winter.

Not my bag on a car but I've have had and have motorcycles with carbon endcaps and they survived the heat just fine.

I recently bought the Borla ATAK Axle Back with carbon fiber tips with black anodized centers. It looks great! I think it looks way better than the stainless steel tips

I was going to suggest you check out the black tips but oddly they're only offered on the axle-back.
