Just heard back from my dealer and they said they just got an allocation for my vehicle...stated they would have a target production week at some point next week. Does that seem right? Or they just trying to appease me temporarily? Thanks again!

It's possible, but until that status changes
to 2000 or beyond, it's all talk

Becky chat told me it was built and sent for testing at Bowling green. Is this correct? RHMMRB How long does it usually take from inspection to dealership?

That's what I figured...My order was placed in July...and it seems like it's been all talk! Hoping for some good news next week then!

Hello Becky!

So I picked up my car today and I must say without you this process would have been grueling. I am absolutely in love with the car.

You have been great throughout this whole process and have given me better service than some of the people in my dealer. So again, thank you very much for what you do on here, you are great!

Can you help out a newbie here and maybe others who don't completely understand the allocation process?

If someone orders a Z51 (which is currently under constraint I understand), and the dealer has an allocation, can the order progress thru to 2000 (and beyond), or are there allocations specifically for the Z51 that a dealer has to wait for?
