No problem checking anytime!! My understanding is that they
were not going to ship any convertibles until after the 1st of
the year. If everything goes well, perhaps they will release
them sooner, but you can bet they are going to sit for awhile
to make sure everything is perfect

Thanks again for tracking our order.

Convertible has been built and is in QC hold, and I know they will sit until they are cleared for ship to commerce. We're doing Museum Delivery and are curious what you've heard in terms of releasing them?

Trying to figure out travel/holiday plans and the odds of picking up before Christmas vs. the new year :-)

E-Mailed the dealership and the salesperson told me that the GM representative district manager said that the order is temporarily in 1100 restricted code just because they haven't picked up the order but they are going to. Who hasn't picked up the order? He said that they are going to get their allocation sometime next week. Thought they were granted the allocation since they were given an order number to give me. Any insight on this? Salesperson is now on vacation for 2 weeks so could not get a follow up from him.

Still 1100 status. There is a difference between and order
and allocation. A dealer could create 100 sold orders and put
them in the system, however, their allocation may only allow
for 20 of them to be placed. The dealer's allocation is a
production guide as to how many they should receive over a
period of time. The challenge is that we don't know when
exactly that allocation will show up in our weekly order cycle
to place the order against. So they may have the allocation
it just hasn't been available to place the order yet.
