Placed my order for a '23 white 1SS 1LE on 4/28. Finally made it to 1100 on 5/10 after sitting at 0500 for almost 2 weeks. There is 1 other order ahead of mine & they are already at 3000.

Placed my order today for 2SS 1LE, dealer should officially submit it tomorrow.

Are dealers giving you guys '23 pricing yet? Mine said they couldn't and had to sign that MSRP was subject to change from the '22 quote they gave me.

No,pricing yet, the dealer and I just went off of the 2022 pricing subject to change.

100% agree. This will be my 3rd Chevy in less then 12 months and I've committed to a 4th with the same dealer.

Has anyone placed orders with two dealers to see who gets the allocation first, if the deposits are refundable? Or is that just playing dirty?

2023 2ss- 1100 as of 5/3…really was 4/29 but i said F it and added the red seat belts.

Two weeks past and still 1100, I'm not that worried because I'm probably the only one with a '23 order at this dealership but I think we all just want the car lol. But there's probably better factory rebates later in the year too. They just dropped the $750 rebate for May.

I placed my original order for a 22 ZLE back in September of last year, never moved past 1100. The dealer resubmitted the order for 23 a couple of weeks ago right away to hold my allocation as I’m next in line, but I’m still currently at 1100.

I placed a 2nd identical order a few days ago at a much larger dealership that does more sales in volume with 2 people ahead of me waiting on Camaros but they gave me an eta of 6-8 months. The sales manager only took a $500 refundable deposit as he said this car won’t be hard to sell if I back out.

At this point with how hard it is to get a car built let alone accepted by GM, I say place as many orders with high volume dealerships that offer a low refundable deposit and aren’t charging over MSRP as you want. The dealers know all too well that they’ll sell the car regardless before it even hits the showroom.
