This 1LE Listing made me cringe

What salesperson thought it'd be a good idea to list this "Brand New" car with these pictures:

That was done purposely so somebody would "rescue" the poor car from that abuse

Never seen the track, just driven in the snow and salty roads a couple times

Abuse? It appears to have been on the top and front of a transport truck/trailer going to the dealer. Notice no snow/salt/dirt on the sides of the car, only the front. It wasn't driven in the slop, only transported. It can be cleaned.

Or maybe just better shipping protection or enclosed truck transport like BMW does?

That's probably how mine showed up from the factory before they washed it, because after they washed it, it had scratches EVERYWHERE on it. Looked like they dry sanded it. IT baffles me that Chev doens't wrap these things in plastic before they ship them. I guess they'd rather pay someone to wet sand them after delivery. Thats what's happening to mine monday to get all the scratches out of the clear coat.

My salesman told me the ONLY cars they wrap are the corvettes and some of the trucks. My buddy bought a Honda Pilot the other day, Black just like my 1LE. I looked over his SUV and it was FLAWLESS. Not one scratch, no orange peal. Perfect paint job. Perfect Dealer prep. Chev could learn a thing or two from honda. Its not right that a crappy mini van looking SUV shows up with a sick black paint job, and my 1LE shows up with more scratches than I can count.

Yep. Like one of our 2 snow falls in KC this year!

Just off the transporter in the second batch of cars that C-D received after mine (back in January). Not sure why they didn't clean it up first b4 pics.

Pretty sure it was the first Arctic Blue 1LE to hit the ground in KC tho.

That's a curious way to sell a car... but I'm sure it cleaned up nicely
