Additional footwell lights.
Hi Guys,
We all know how weak the OEM footwell leds are.. deffinitely a point to be improved upon. I have heard the GM RGB are expensive so want to make my own from Led strips. Ive got all the bits but where can I splice into the feed to the OEM footwell leds. I am sure this has been covered before but if someone can show me a live and ground that goes on and off with the footwell courtesy lights i'd much appreciate it!! Cheers all |

Do you intend to put in the RGB color changing LEDs, or do you just want courtesy lights that go on when the doors are open or the interior lights are switched on? I believe those are 2 separate circuits.

I am not gonna fit rgb ...more like a few short led strips in red for passenger and driver footwell and extend to the same in the rear.. So is there a secret wire tap in that spider web wiring loom under the dash ?? |

Found this on another post, and it works for the courtesy lights. Black is ground, so you can tap into that anywhere.
